My Headshot sessions are built to give you the maximum variety for your personal brand. I shoot from above the chest and coach you every step of the way to capture expressions that feel natural, confident, and uniquely you, no stiff poses. I often vary the background colors and I strongly recommend bringing multiple outfit options so we can create a diverse set of looks, If it’s not there, I can’t shoot it. Sessions typically run anywhere from 15 minutes to 4 hours, depending on how much range you want to walk away with.

My Portrait sessions are more expansive and creative, allowing us to explore multiple looks, lighting styles, and backgrounds. ll be including portraits along with your headshots, so you’ll have an assortment of different backgrounds/lighting and we change the proximity of the camera to the subject as well. These sessions run a minimum of 2 hours and deliver a full collection, from polished headshots to full-body portraits, perfect for marketing, branding, and personal use.

You’ll review images with me throughout the session so we can quickly identify the strongest shots and build momentum in front of the camera. At the end of the shoot, you’ll select your final images from the very best. Each image is $125 and includes unlimited personal-use licensing plus professional retouching. Retouched images are delivered within 2-3 days of full payment, ready to use right away.

During the session

We’ll capture the images and review them together throughout the session. I use a second monitor connected to my laptop, so you’ll be able to see each shot in real time as it’s taken. This allows us to immediately fine-tune pose, expression, and any other adjustments needed on the spot. Reviewing the images as we go helps us evaluate what’s working best for your needs and adapt the focus of the session to ensure you get the strongest possible results.

After the session

Once the photo session is complete, we’ll sit down together and review the images we’ve kept so far, one by one. We’ll start by eliminating the obvious outtakes, then gradually narrow things down to the strongest images from the session. Throughout this process, I’ll guide you on details such as expression, overall feel, and what can (and can’t) be enhanced during retouching, while also making sure you end up with a versatile range of final images.

By the end of the review, you can select the images you’d like to purchase, which will then be professionally retouched and delivered approximately 2-3 after your photoshoot. If you prefer to take more time with your selection, I’m also happy to upload a private online gallery with all the images from your session so you can review and make your final choices comfortably at home.

Let’s Talk About What to Wear

I suggest the client to bring a range of clothing options to their session, because you have to love what you’re wearing. If you don’t feel comfortable in an outfit, it will almost always show on camera.

I recommend to include pieces with different silhouettes, colors, and necklines, keeping in mind that solid, neutral or muted colors photograph best. Plain fabrics are strongly recommended, avoid fluorescent tones, busy patterns, logos, or graphic designs, as they can be distracting and pull attention away from what matters most: your face.
For corporate clients, I suggest a mix of jacket, shirt, and tie combinations for men and several blouse, dress, and jacket options for woman.

When it comes to accessories, less is usually more. Studs or small earrings and simple necklaces tend to photograph best. Anything chunky or dangling can draw attention away from your face, but if bold jewelry is your style, go for it.

If you wear glasses and have multiple pairs, please bring them along so we can check for glare and choose the best option.

If you’re unsure whether something will work, bring it anyway, options are always helpful.
For actors, layers are fantastic, and there’s no need to think seasonally. Everything from t-shirts and tank tops to sweaters and light jackets can work beautifully.

Hair and Make up

For Woman:

  • Makeup isn’t required, but I highly recommend it. My makeup artist will handle everything at the headshot session and you do not need to bring any makeup if you add(ed) professional makeup and it will done specifically for my lighting and helps create a clean, polished look on camera. If you are doing your own makeup, please keep it simple and light, bring lipstick and/or lipgloss along with basic makeup and tools for eventual touch up.

  • Please arrive with your Hair styled the way you’d like it to appear in your photos. Please bring everything you use to style your hair, including anything you use to tame flyaways.I also suggest to not get haircut within three days of the headshot session. If you add(ed) Makeup and Hair, my makeup artist will fine-tune and clean things up for the camera, like a full blowout or straightening naturally curly hair, but please don’t come in with completely unstyled hair.

For Man:

  • I don’t usually recommend makeup for men, but light grooming (reducing shine, quick hair cleanup, etc.) is available if you want it. Please do not get a haircut within three days of the headshot session. Bring every hair styling product and tools you daily use to style your hair. Come freshly shaven and trimmed, including eventual nose hair.
